Bloomquist York
Bloomquist York is a stunning addition to the back of a dahlia border as it soars above most dahlias. The 6” deep, rusty-red blooms are very beautiful and grow on a 5’ tall plant. Mine was actually over 6’ tall during a very hot summer and it didn’t ever shrivel or droop. I think it would do well in a warm climate. Requires pinching to get multiple blooms and bloomed earlier than I usually would expect for a large bloom. Gorgeous color! I would treat this more as a stunning backdrop in the garden or an exhibition flower than a cut flower.
